Beth Anne (Krause) Hall
After bravely battling cancer for almost two years, Beth Anne Hall, 55, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2020 at 12:40pm at the Center for Hospice Care in Roseland, Indiana. She spent her final hours on this earth in the company of her children.
The daughter of Ted and Gerry Krause, Beth was born on November 27, 1964 in South Bend. She graduated from James Whitcomb Riley High School in 1983 and was a long-time resident of Rabbi Shulman Apartment complex in downtown South Bend, where she was widely known and beloved. She was a life-long writer and creative, channeling her experiences into piano, singing, and art in various forms.
Most importantly, Beth was a survivor, a paragon of resilience and humor in the face of hardship. She demonstrated extraordinary courage throughout her life, never turning away from those who needed her, regardless of her own circumstances. Instead, she met suffering head-on, and filled the world around her with fire, color, and wit. She was a gift,and will forever be held in the hearts of those who were graced by her presence.
She is survived by both of her loving parents, her older brother, Steven Krause, and her son and daughter, Matthew and Erin Hall.
There will be no formal funeral services, but a private Celebration of Life will be held in the near future, the date and time of which are yet to be determined.
