Barbara E. Collins June 6, 1970 - Aug. 25, 2015 MISHAWAKA - Barbara Early Collins, 45, residing in Mishawaka, Indiana, passed away at 12:46 AM Tuesday, August 25, 2015, in her home. Barbara was born June 6, 1970, in Niles, Michigan, to Henry Clay Collins and Ernestine (Dockery) Collins, and had been a lifelong resident of this area.
Barbara was a 1989 graduate of Riley High School in South Bend and a 1994 graduate of Purdue University in West Lafayette.
Barbara is survived by her mother, Ernestine Dockery of Mishawaka; daughter, Robyn Bell of Mishawaka; son, Michael Bell of South Bend; grandchildren, Marvin Bell and Kevontae Bell; and sisters, Karen Ann Collins of Mishawaka and Danielle Nicole (Joshua) Davis of Osceola, Arkansas.
Barbara was preceded in death by her father, Henry Clay Collins; and by her sister, Wendy Maria Collins.
Funeral services for Barbara Collins will be 2:00 PM Saturday, August 29, 2015, at Palmer Funeral Home Hickey Chapel, 17131 Cleveland Road, South Bend, IN 46635, where friends may visit with the family two hours prior to services (12 noon until 2 pm) at the funeral home. Graveside services and burial will follow at Calvin Township Cemetery, southeast of Casso-polis, MI. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
