MISHAWAKA - Kelly Lynn Leisenring, 38, of Mishawaka, passed away Thursday, October 29, 2009, in her residence, after an extended illness. Kelly was born June 23, 1971, in Fairfax, Virginia to John Leisenring, of Hinsdale, New Hampshire and Cheryl (Batiz) Leisenring, of South Bend, who both survive. Kelly is also survived by her friend and partner, Maria Bahu, of South Bend, several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Richard and Mary Leisenring, and Louis and Doris Batiz.

Kelly had worked at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center in South Bend as a Surgical Technician. She was a former member of Memorial Presbyterian Church, and was a 1989 graduate of Riley High School.

Memorial services will be held 7:00 p.m. Monday, November 2nd, at Welsheimer Family Funeral Home, 17033 Cleveland Rd., with Rev. James Campbell officiating. Family and friends may visit one hour prior to the service.
