Riley 1957 Jay Robert Huckins

Mishawaka-Jay R. Huckins, 76, passed away on Monday, December 15 in Hospice House in South Bend.

Jay was born on March 13, 1938 in Mishawaka to Robert and Dorisellen (Walter) Huckins. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, John.

Surviving Jay are his daughter, Kristi (Ken) Cysewski of Granger; four grandchildren, Peter, Matthew, Christopher and Luke; two sisters, Mary (Paul) Reynolds of Orlando, FL and Sue (Joe) Bogen of Aurora, IL; his former wife, Judy Huckins of Chandler, AZ; a sister-in-law, Marsha Huckins of Granger and an aunt, Dorothy Grant of South Bend.

Jay was the owner of Huckins Tool and Die. He was a Veteran of the United States Army; an avid golfer and past champion of the South Bend Country Club Invitational.

As per Jay’s wishes there will be no visitation. A private family service will take place.
