George Dale Weller
June 11, 1924 – January 13, 2015
South Bend- - G. Dale Weller, 90, or Mason, OH; formerly of South Bend, passed away January 13, 2015. He is survived by his wife Janice, daughter, Carolyn Arnolds of Chicago, IL; sons, Kevin (Heidi) Weller of San Francisco, CA; David (Marie) Weller of Columbus, OH; step-sons, Thomas (Laurie) Nelson of Cincinnati, OH; & David (Lisa) Nelson of Seymour, IN; eight grandchildren, and one great-grandson.
Dale retired from Retail Advertising with the South Bend Tribune following a 30+ year career.
He proudly served his country in the United States Army during WWII. While living is South Bend, he was an active member of the former First Christian Church, and later First Presbyterian Church of South Bend, and sang in the Michiana Male Chorus.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, April 12, at the Palmer Funeral Home-Hickey Chapel, 17131 Cleveland Road, South Bend, where the family will receive guests one hour prior to the service. Graveside services and burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery.
