Jack Richard Ziegert

ZIEGERT — Word has been received here of the unexpected death on Aug. 1 of Jack Ziegert, 55, of Munising, Mich., formerly of South Bend, who suffered an apparent heart attack.

A restaurant owner, he was born on April 29, 1924, in South Bend, and moved to Munising about 15 years ago.

He is survived by his wife, Julie; two daughters; two sons; four grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Lucile Sausaman of South Bend; two brothers, Walter of South Bend and Raymond of Cassopolis, and his mother, Mrs. Helen Ziegert of South Bend.

Services and burial took place last Saturday in Munising, with the Bowerman Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
