I did not know how else to let contact her friends back here in the states.
To my sister's friends from the Class of '72,
Frances Yvonne Kirkwood-Slye passed away suddenly Aug. 24th, in Dublin, Ireland. She will be cremated Monday in Ireland. She was preceded in death by her son, Nigel and leaves behind her husband, John (Ireland), and in the USA her grandson, Jonas, myself, brother Warren, and extended family in Indiana.

Marcia Halasi (Sharp) (1972)
She was a dear friend of mine. I will miss her forever. We met when I first started at Riley, but, curiously enough, she was my Aunt and Uncle's next door neighbor! We had our babies within a year of each other and, when the children were young, spent a lot of time together. After I married and she eventually moved to Ireland, we lost touch for awhile. Thanks to Facebook, we reconnected. We encouraged each other during one of the worst years of both our lives. Although we hadn't actually seen each other since her father passed away, we naturally communicated through Facebook, just like most of us do these days. I read her last post the other day. Then, sadly, John's post two days ago.
Rest in Peace, my dear friend.
