William F. Kridler
August 28, 1941 ~ December 13, 2020 (age 79)
William “Bill” F. Kridler, 79, residing in South Bend, passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2020 at home surrounded by his family. He was born on August 28, 1941 in Indiana, PA to the late Lloyd F. and Eleanore B. (Grundy) Kridler.
Bill moved to the area at the age of 14 and worked as a tool maker for Torrington for 20 years and A.M. General for 10 years. He was a member of the U.S. Army. On November 17, 2018 he was united in marriage to Jorene (Covey) Kridler who survives.
Bill is also survived by his daughter, Susan (Gregory) Collins of Stevensville, MI, sons, Anthony (Anna) Kridler of Elkhart, Jeffrey (Michele) Kridler of Glastonbury, CT, and step son, Eric Long of Elkhart. He also leaves behind 7 grandchildren, Noah, Allie, Adam, Zach, Abby, Maddy, Alex.
Services for Bill will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at Palmer Funeral Home – River Park Chapel, 2528 Mishawaka Ave. South Bend, IN 46615. Friends may visit with the family beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery.
