Nick, 63, of South Bend Indiana passed away on May 15,1996 in South Bend. Born May 10, 1933, in LaPaz Indiana.
On May 25, 1957 married Dorothy Nestorovich of Gary Indiana. Nick and Dorothy had 1 son Mike and 5 daughters Mara, Melanie, Dawn, Dorothy and Nicole all were graduates of Riley High School. Nick served our country in the US Army, in France and was the owner of Medich & Associates in South Bend.
Brothers George and Fred, sisters Mildred (Millie), Betty, Mary and Helen, all were also graduates of Riley High School. Nick was formerly the President of the Serbian National Foundation and a member of the St. Peter and Paul Serbian church in South Bend.

SOUTH BEND - Services for Nick G. Medich, 63, of East Woodside Street, who died at 1:25 a.m. Tuesday in Memorial Hospital, will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Saints Peter & Paul Serbian Orthodox Church. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today and 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Zahoran Funeral Home, where a prayer service will be at 7 p.m. Thursday.
He was born May 10, 1933, in LaPaz. On May 25, 1957, in South Bend, he married Dorothy Nestorovich. She survives with five daughters, Mara Balaban and Melanie Obren, both of South Bend, Dawn Isch and Dorothy Schmok, both of Indianapolis, and Nicole Medich at home; a son, Mike G. of South Bend; nine grandchildren; his mother, Mary Medich of Portage; four sisters, Betty Barker of South Bend, Mildred Elliott of Portage, Mary Rose of Tucson, Ariz., and Helen Ullom of Jefferson City, Tenn.; and a brother, George of South Bend. He was a member of the church and was a Korean War veteran.
