Dolores Marie (Wozniak) McCann

SOUTH BEND - Dolores "Dee" McCann, 73, of South Bend, passed away August 13, 2009. Born October 14, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Hurbert and Mildred (Tisdale) Wozniak. On November 24, 1955, Dee married Jim McCann, who survives in South Bend.

She is also survived by one daughter, Susan (Randy) Staton of South Bend; three sons, Daniel McCann, Michael (Angie) McCann and David (Bryan Dingler) McCann, all of South Bend; one sister, Dorothy Van Rent of Kentucky; seven grandchildren, Robby and Amanda Staton and Amy, Natalie, Ryan, Cameron and Lily McCann; and two step grandchildren, Taylor Brown and J.R. Buda.

The family would like to give special thanks to Gloria Jacob for her undying friendship she had with Dee.

Dee was the Executive Secretary for Indiana Wiping Cloth for thirty years. She was an avid bowler and golfer; and she had a passion for traveling all over the world. The love she gave to her family will be missed greatly, but never forgotten.
