Diane Louise (Fitch) Sundberg
October 11, 1939 - October 14, 1999
Diane (Fitch) Sundberg, 60, of Lakewood, Colo., passed away after an extended illness on Thursday, Oct. 14, in Porter Hospice Center, Denver, Colo.
On Oct. 11, 1939, Diane was born to Robert and Mildred Fitch in South Bend, Ind. Both of her parents preceded her in death.
She graduated from Riley High School in 1957, and from Indiana University at Bloomington in 1961. Diane was a member of the Tri Delta Sorority and of the PEO Sisterhood.
She married John Sundberg of Mishawaka, Ind., on June 3, 1961, at the First Methodist Church in South Bend.
Diane is survived by her husband, John of Lakewood; her son, Steven of Lakewood; her daughter, Sharon Sundberg Markin of Los Angeles, Calif.; and by her sister, Marilyn Fitch Hermann of Sedona, Ariz.
Services will be at 1 p.m. on Tuesday in the Crown Hill Funeral Home, Denver. There will be no visitation.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
