William Frederick Shinneman
Feb. 3, 1938 - Oct. 25, 2009
SOUTH BEND - William F. Shinneman Jr., 71, went to be with his Lord on October 25th at 12:06 a.m. in Harris Methodist Hospital, Ft. Worth, Texas, with his wife and children at his side. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Beatrice Shinneman.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, JoAnn (Anderson) of Arlington, Texas; his children, Kristine (Troy) Christian of Arlington, TX, Kelli (Eric) Morse of Little Elm, TX, Wendy (Gary) Buckner of Keller, TX, Mandy (David) Lowrey of Irving, TX, and Abby (Mike) Davidson of Mansfield, TX.
He is survived by his nine grandchildren, Candace, Chelsea, Marcello, Jessica, Tristyn, Paige, Collin, Tatum and Trinity.
He is survived by his brother, Jack (Pheeny) Shinneman of Reynolds Plantation, GA, and his sister, Nancy (Terry) Gerber of Cassopolis.
He graduated from Riley High School in 1957 and received his bachelor of science in mechanical engineering from Purdue University in 1962.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation be made to The South Point Baptist Church Building Fund, 8200 Webb Ferrell, Arlington, TX 76002, where William had been a member since 1982.
