SOUTH BEND - Oscar Albert Alonso, 21, of South Bend, IN, passed away at 4:25 a.m. Sunday, March 5, 2017, at Memorial Hospital. He was born on October 16, 1995, in Anaheim, CA, to Filemon and Areli (Pineda) Alonso.

Oscar is survived by his parents, Filemon and Areli Alonso, sister, Adilene Alonso, and two brothers, Aldair Alonso and Filemon Alonso.

Oscar went to Riley High School. He was an artist, loved to draw and liked graffiti art. He was a Notre Dame fan, enjoyed soccer and loved EDM music. Oscar took great pride in his hometown of South Bend.

Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m Friday, March 10, 2017, in the auditorium at the Palmer Community Complex Auditorium, 601 N. Michigan St., Lakeville, IN. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. Friday. Graveside services and burial will conclude at Southlawn Cemetery.
