MISHAWAKA — Mary Louise Wise, 74, of Pin Oak Circle, died at 7:20 p.m. Saturday in her home after an illness. Miss Wise retired in 1984 from Travelers Insurance Co. as a secretary after 44 years of service

She was born Sept. 15, 1916, in Marshalltown, Iowa, and lived in South Bend since 1932, coming from Kansas City, Mo. She is survived by several cousins.

She was a member of National Secretaries Association. 

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Welsheimer Funeral Home 521 N. William St. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County Inc.
