Elizabeth Marie (Nemeth) Mitchell
October 6, 1961 - November 25, 2023
Elizabeth Marie Mitchell, age 62 of Mishawaka, Indiana peacefully passed away at 8:30pm on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
She was born on October 6, 1961 in South Bend, Indiana to Wendell R. and Elizabeth M. (Newlun) Nemeth. She was a graduate of Riley High School.
She is survived by her loving husband of 32 years Christopher Mitchell, her daughter Angela Nemeth and fiance Phillip Hardesty, her two sons Brandon and Nicholas Mitchell, and her grandchild for whom she adored Mackenzie, Maddison, and Molly Mitchell. She is survived by her brother Max Nemeth of South Carolina, and sister Dorothy Emerick of Indiana.
She was preceded in death by her parents Wendell R. and Elizabeth M. (Newlun) Nemeth, her brother Jack Nemeth of Indiana, her brother Wendell R. Nemeth, Jr. of Michigan, and sister Carol Rand of Indiana.
For Elizabeth, family was the most important aspect of her life. Elizabeth never hesitated to extend her unwavering kindness to any of her family. She was a very spiritual person with strong faith in the Lord. She prayed for the wellbeing of her family every night.
Elizabeth enjoyed cooking for her family, always adding love as her special ingredient. She enjoyed camping, and playing games with family.
Visitation for family and friends will take place on Thursday, November 30, 2023 from 5pm to 7pm at Chapel Hill Funeral Home in Osceola, Indiana to celebrate Elizabeth's wonderful life. Additional visitation will be held before the service on Friday, December 1, 2023 at 11am. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 01, 2023 at 12pm noon. Burial to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
