Sondia T. Hamilton
July 13, 1961 ~ December 11, 2022 (age 61)
Ms. Sondia T. Hamilton was born in South Bend, Indiana on July 13, 1961, to the union of Queen E. and Robert Hamilton, Sr. She passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on December 11, 2022. She was 60 years old.
Sondia graduated from Riley High School and went on to attend Ivy Tech Community College. She was employed as a Child Care Provider and Cook at New Life Fellowship Ministry Daycare. She enjoyed cooking, listening to music, working with kids, helping others, spending time with family and friends and especially being a caregiver to our mother.
Sondia leaves to cherish her memory, siblings: Pastor Linda Johnson Thomas and Pamela K. Dozier, both of South Bend; Jan D. (Melvin) Jenkins of Columbus, GA; and a sister-in-law, Patricia A. Hamilton of Elkhart, IN; nieces and nephews: Demetrius (Monie) Erby, Marcus (Stacy) Ivey, Shanda Hamilton, Sarita Ward, Holoa Tolbert, Melvin Jenkins, Linette (Nathaniel) Saunders, Shevlin (Nue) Hughley, Siglenda Dozier, Mikol (Jeri) Dozier, Brandon Bridges, Nicholas Jenkins and Ariel Hamilton; her Goddaughter, Sondia Branscomb, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Robert Hamilton, Jr., and Michael Hamilton; one sister, Michelle Hamilton and a nephew Gary Ward.
Sondia, our beloved sister was a pleasure to have around. She was loved by many and made an impact on many lives. She will be greatly missed. May she Rest in Peace.
