SOUTH BEND - Anthony M. Tylavsky, 34, of South Bend, IN passed away at 3:35 p.m. on Thursday, February 24, 2011 at Memorial Hospital, South Bend, IN. He was born on June 27, 1976 in South Bend to James and Kathy (Sorgenfrei) Tylavsky. His father preceded him in death in 2000.
Anthony is survived by his mother Kathy Tylavsky of South Bend, IN; his grandmother, Faith Sorgenfrei; one brother, Jimmy Tylavsky; niece, Brianna Tylavsky; uncle, Mark Sorgenfrei; and many other aunts and uncles.
Mr. Tylavsky was a lifelong resident. He worked for St Joseph Medical Center for 15 years. He loved all kind of sports, football he loved the most. He enjoyed music, and many kinds of movies.
Anthony graduated from Riley High School in 1995.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday March 1, 2011 in the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan St., South Bend. Friends may visit with the family from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Monday February 28, 2011 at the funeral home and one hour prior to services on Tuesday. Burial will take place at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger, IN. Contributions in memory of Anthony M. Tylavsky may be offered to Logan Center, 2505 Jefferson Blvd, South Bend, IN 46615-2635.
