Floyd O. Ottersen

Floyd O. Ottersen, 73, of Fort Lauderdale, Fla, formerly of South Bend, died Monday in his borne. Mr. Ottersen was a retired machinist who had worked for the Brake & Steering Division of Bendix Corp. He was born June 2, 1913. He moved to Fort Lauderdale from South Bend in 1972.

His wife, the former Louise Waite, survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Sharon Jacobs of Plantation, Fla: a grandson; five sisters, Gwendolyn Klein and Marguerite Graybasch, both of South Bend, Mary Jo Leeper of Warsaw, Roberta Young of Hemet, Calif., and Sandy Kay of Virginia; and two brothers, Roy of South Bend and David of Davis, Okla.

Graveside services will be at 10 am. Saturday in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Pa Granger. Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at McGann Funeral Home, 2313 E. Edison Road. He was a member of Local 9 of the United Auto Workers union.
