Lois I. (Palmer) Adams

KNOX — Services for Mrs. Lois I. Adams, 68, of Knox, who died at 8:30 p.m. Sunday at home, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Haverstock Funeral Home. Rev. Mark Jones, associate pastor of the First United Methodist Church of LaPorte, of which she was a member, will officiate. Burial will be in the St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park Cemetery, South Bend. Private family visitation was to be today at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

She was born on May 27, 1914, in-South Bend. She moved to Knox five years ago from LaPorte. On May 27, 1940, in South Bend, she married Herman Adams. He survives with two daughters, Mrs. Sandy Dexter of LaPorte and Mrs. Susan Matins of Knox; a son, John of LaPorte; 'three grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Connie Duncan of Cary, Ill.
