Florence (Rymer) Morrison
Florence Rymer Morrison, 71, of 3117 Robin Hood Lane, died at 4 a.m. Friday, Jan 2, 1987, in St. Joseph's Medical Center. Mrs. Morrison was born Nov. 5, 1915, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident
On June 8, 1937, in South Bend, as Florence Rymer, she married Morris L. Morrison, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Susan Vega of Rochester, N.Y.; a son, Laurence of Sturbridge, Mass. ; three grandchildren; two sisters, Genevieve Medow of Miami Beach, Fla., and Evelyn Pollyea of South Bend; and two brothers, Richard Rymer of Highland, Ind, and Barry Rymer of Chicago; and her mother, Jeannette Rymer of South Bend.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Sun-day in Temple Beth-EL Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, 1201 S. Michigan St., is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Morrison was a member of B'nai B'rith, the South Bend Art Center board of directors and the Women's Art League; an officer and member of the Indiana Women's Art Caucus, past president of Temple Beth-El Sisterhood and a member of Temple Beth-EL She graduated from Indiana University at South Bend in 1971 and University of Notre Dame in 1977. Memorial contributions may be made to the South Bend Art Center Acquisition Fund
