Lisa Barocio
Lisa Barocio April 15, 1971 - Feb. 3, 2015 SOUTH BEND - Ms. Lisa Barocio, age 43, who resided on West Jefferson Blvd., South Bend, IN, passed away at 5:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February, 3, 2015, at her residence following an illness. Lisa was born April 15, 1971, in Syracuse, IN, to Manuel Barocio and Angelita Delgado, both of whom preceded her in death along with her nephew, Mario Barocio, and her best friend, Theresa Hershberger.
Lisa was a 1990 graduate of Riley High School and she received her Associate Degree in 1992 from Michiana College as a Medical Assistant.
She worked as a self-employed contractor and worked also for the City of South Bend as a contractor for five years. Lisa was an outgoing person and her passions included cooking, watching movies, being with her family and helping other people.
Survivors left to cherish her memory include her adopted parents, Russel and Joy Kime of Arizona; two daughters, Sasha Barocio and Norvia Pittman, both of South Bend, IN; one son, Elijah Barocio of Texas; two grandchildren, Davarion Swanson and Alayah Starks, both of South Bend, IN; one sister, Alma Barocio of Tampa, FL; two brothers, Louie Barocio of South Bend, IN, and Michael Barocio of Minnesota; a sister-in-law, Kim Barocio; her special friends, Diana & Anthony Pittman; her special daughter, Tarasia; her favorite niece, Raquel Torres, & her children; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Services for Ms. Lisa Barocio will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 10, 2015, at Alford's Mortuary, with burial following at St. Joseph Cemetery. Viewing will occur from noon to 1:00 p.m. at Alford's Mortuary. Arrangements have been entrusted to Alford's Mortuary. www.alfordsmortuaryinc.com
