OSCEOLA - Louis Lee Clark Sr. of Osceola, Indiana, formerly of South Bend, departed this life on March, 16, 2011, in Memorial Hospital, South Bend. Louis was born on March 3, 1949, to the union of Roosevelt and Vilene Clark. Louis confessed his love of Jesus Christ and was a former member of Progressive Missionary Baptist Church.

Louis graduated from Riley High School and IVY Tech of South Bend.

He enlisted in the United States Air Force Reserves and was honorably discharged. He was formerly employed by Bendix Pepsi Cola and Saylor Pizza. He had a great love for gardening, fishing and cooking.

On January 27, 2007, he married Kathy Arnold, who survives. Also surviving are his mother, Vilene (Clark) Flenoy, and stepfather, Rev. Charles Flenoy. He leaves to cherish his memory his loving children: four daughters, Elouise Townsend of South Bend, Stephanie (Jimmy) Cody, Chicago, IL, Terria Clark, Atlanta, GA, and Heather (Larry) Madden of Indianapolis, IN; and two sons, Louis Lee (LaCresia) Clark Jr. of Indianapolis, IN, and Louis Roosevelt Clark of South Bend; five stepchildren, Kevin (Tracy) Arnold, Andre (Adrian) Arnold, Erica (Martin) Perez, Nicole Arnold and Kathy Arnold, all of South Bend, IN. Also cherishing his memories are his six brothers, Melvin (Kim) Clark, Jerome (Debbie) Clark, Danny Clark, Ricky Clark, Wayne Clark, Rodney (Sue) Clark and Kenny (Unita) Thompson, all of South Bend, IN; two sisters, Deloris Clark and Valerie Clark, both of South Bend; 22 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

Louis was preceded in death by his father, Roosevelt Clark Sr.; two brothers, Roosevelt Clark Jr. and Terry Clark; and three grandchildren, Rochelle Freeman, Tyshon Freeman and Tarnia Freeman.

He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. We will miss you Louis, but will always love and remember you.

Services for Mr. Louis Lee Clark Sr. will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2011, in the Clark-O'Neal Funeral Home, South Bend, IN. Visitation begins at 10 a.m. and the funeral services at 11 a.m. Interment will follow services at Highland Cemetery. Visit www.clarkoneal.com to sign his guestbook.
