SOUTH BEND - David Kwist, 83, of Des Plaines, IL, died on October 15, 2011. Beloved husband of Dorothy (nee Shuttleworth) for 61 years. Loving Father of Cynthia and Jeanette (Richard) Robinson. Proud Grandfather of Michael and Rebecca Robinson. Dear Brother of June Stockton.

Mr. Kwist graduated from Riley High School in 1946 and was an employee at Studebaker.

Visitation will be taking place on Tuesday, October 18, 2011, beginning at 10:00 a.m. until time of the funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. Martin's Episcopal Church, 1095 E. Thacker Street, Des Plaines, Illinois. Interment is private. Memorials may be made to Cathedral Shelter of Chicago. Funeral care provided by the G.L. Hills Funeral Home.
