Charles McLeod April 7, 1951 - May 26, 2014 SOUTH BEND - Charles McLeod, beloved father, son, brother and uncle, was called home to his heavenly father on May 26, 2014. On April 7, 1951, Charles was born to Joe & Lillian McLeod. He was born and raised in South Bend, IN.
He graduated from Riley High School.
After school he married Etta Miller and started his family. He loved traveling and driving semi trucks. Charles leaves behind his daughters, Charlaine, Falana, Tomika and Erica McLeod, all of South Bend, IN; stepdaughter, Tyra Miller of Tyler, TX; one son, Charles (Robin) McLeod, Jr., of South Bend, IN; three stepsons, Robert Whiting and Jason Miller, both of South Bend, IN, and Josh Miller of Tyler, TX; 35 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; his beloved brother, Prince (Angela) Reed; and a host of loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Etta McLeod, his mother, Lillian McLeod, father, Joe McLeod, two sisters, Ernestine Reynolds and Annie Baldwin, brothers, Luke, Edker and Joe McLeod, and two grandchildren, Cornell Taylor and Brian McLeod.
Services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, June 6, 2014, at Alford's Mortuary, with viewing one hour prior to services at Alford's Mortuary. Arrangements have been entrusted to Alford's Mortuary. www.alfordsmortuaryinc.com
