SOUTH BEND - Markwood ''Chick'' Edison, 87, of East Oakside, died Sunday in St. Paul's Health Care Center, of natural causes.

Survivors include his wife, Ruby (Fryar); three sons, Neil of South Bend, Bruce of Winston-Salem, N.C., and Gordon of Bethesda, Md.; a sister, Myrtle Widstrand of Crown Point, Ind.; and a brother, Chester of North Liberty.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in Sumption Prairie Methodist Church.

Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday in Guisinger Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, and one hour before services in the church.
