Deloris L (Frepan) Hodges

July 6, 1919 - July 8, 2003

Deloris L. Hodges, 84, residing on Cedar Trail, South Bend, Ind., passed away at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 8, in St. Paul's Retirement Community. She was born July 6, 1919, in Danville, Ill., and had been a life-long resident of South Bend. On July 27, 1968, in South Bend, as Deloris Lee Frepan, she married Roger W. "Bud" Hodges. He preceded her in death on Oct. 1, 1999.

Deloris is survived by two daughters, Carolyn (Paul) Clulo of Frankfort, Mich., and Lynn (Richard) Giomi of Reno, Nev.; her son, Jack (Cheryl) Frepan of South Bend; six grandchildren, Patrick Frepan of Lafayette, Ind., Roger Frepan of South Bend, Timothy Clulo of Traverse City, Mich., David Clulo of Sterling Heights, Mich., Jacqueline Grommons of Arcadia, Mich., and Brett May of Las Vegas, Nev.; and by six great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Hodges retired from the payroll department of the Sears Roebuck & Company following 22 years of service. She was a graduate of South Bend Riley High School, and was a member of Grace United Methodist Church.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, July 11, in Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 South Michigan Street, South Bend. Rev. Hosea W. Drake, pastor of Grace United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will follow at Highland Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today in the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel. Contributions in memory of Mrs. Hodges may be made to Hospice of St. Joseph County, 111 Sunnybrook Court, South Bend, IN 46637.
