Michael "Mike" R. Frame, 69, of Eldon, MO passed away peacefully at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at St. Mary's Hospital, Jefferson City, MO. He was born on September 22, 1946 in South Bend, IN to Robert Edwin and Pearl Arlene (Kindy) Frame.
Mike is survived by two daughters, Melissa (Steve) Davis of Coral Springs, FL and Megan (Ryan) Tackett of Indianapolis, IN; two grandchildren, Ryan and Ashley Davis; his mother, Pearl Arlene Frame of South Bend, IN; sister, Suzanne (Jay) Walters of Bloomington, IN and brother, David (Joan) Frame of South Bend, IN, nieces and nephews, Tyler (Kari) Frame, Amanda Frame, and Chelsea (Josh) Lewis and Melissa's mother, Linda (Frame) Leslie. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Frame on April 3, 2007 and brother, Samuel James Frame on September 11, 2014.
Mike grew up in South Bend, IN then graduated from Purdue University where he played football and was a proud member of the 1967 Rose Bowl team. He resided in Florida after graduation where he taught, coached high school football and wrestling, and started his family. He retired in Eldon, Missouri where he spent the last 20 some years. Mike touched many lives in his life and will always be remembered.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, April 14, 1:30 p.m. at Southlawn Cemetery, 61300 U.S. 31 South, South Bend, IN. Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, South Bend is assisting the family.
