SOUTH BEND - Joseph L. Wieger, 68, of South Bend, passed away Sunday, April 3, 2016, at Briarcliff Nursing and Rehabilitation. Joseph was born July 16, 1947, in South Bend, to the late Joseph and Mary (Conley) Wieger. He was also preceded in death by his stepdaughter, Michelle Lynn Mandeville, and sister, Mary Ann Peterson. On September 6, 1986, in Mishawaka, Joseph married Judith (Smith), who survives, along with his daughter, Wendi (Steve) Goetz of Huntington, IN; two grandchildren, Matthew Stringfellow of Edwardsburg, and Brock Inman of Las Vegas, NV; brother, John (Robbie) Wieger of Virginia; and close friend, Daryl Tilton of South Bend. Joseph worked at Bosch as a Warehouse Coordinator. Per Joseph's wishes, there will no visitation or services. Cremation will be held at Welsheimer Crematory.
