George "Bugs" Psarakis Jr. July 21, 1950 - June 11, 2014 MISHAWAKA - George "Bugs" Psarakis Jr., 63, of Mishawaka, IN, passed away on Wednesday, June 11th, at the Hospice House in South Bend, IN. George was born on July 21, 1950, in South Bend, IN, to George Psarakis Sr. and Mary (Fulmer) Psarakis. George was preceded in death by his birth father, George Psarakis Sr., and his stepfather, Charlie Chase. George is survived by his mother, Mary Chase Urso; and his 2 brothers, Jesse Psarakis of Arizona and John (Mitzi) Psarakis of Granger, IN; along with his nephew, Forrest Psarakis of New Mexico; and his niece, Rachel Psarakis of New York.

George graduated from Riley High School in 1968.

George served his country in the United States Navy, receiving an honorable discharge on October 15, 1972. George was deployed on the USS Kitty Hawk during the Viet Nam conflict. George was a self-employed Brick Mason, retiring after 30 years of service. George was an avid golfer; he enjoyed playing the game. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 am, with one hour visitation prior on Saturday, June 14, 2014, with Pastor Allen Holt officiating at the Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka. Burial of cremains, with military rites, will follow the service at Fairview Cemetery in Mishawaka. Memorial contributions may be made to either the Church of Christ, 914 Mishawaka Ave., Mishawaka, IN 46544; or to the American Cancer Society, 130 Red Coach Drive, Mishawaka, Indiana 46545.
