Patricia Ann (Gaffigan) Boocher

Patricia Ann (Gaffigan) Boocher, 92 of South Bend, passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 4, 2024.

Patricia was born to the late Patrick J. Gaffigan & Margaret (Malia) Gaffigan on May 29, 1932.

On July 14, 1951, Patricia married James A. Boocher and enjoyed 42 years of marriage before James’s death in 1993.

Patricia is survived by her children, Patricia A. Welty of Mishawaka, Sara J. Korpak of Georgia, Margaret E. Papp of North Carolina, Sean E. Boocher of South Bend, Neal A. Boocher of Florida and Hugh (Lori) Boocher of Florida, her daughter in law Kimberly Boocher of Utah, and her brother John G. Gaffigan of South Bend. Patricia was blessed with 15 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her daughter, Mary D. Boocher, her sons’ Timothy C. Boocher and James M. Boocher and her three sisters, Sara Pence, Mary Baer and Rita Wojtysiak.

There will be a private graveside service and she will be laid to rest with her husband at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park.
