NILES - Donald E. Harrison, 61, of 1214 Pletcher Ave., died at 10:20 a.m. Thursday in St. Joseph's Medical Center, South Bend, after an illness. Mr. Harrison was the former owner/operator of Michiana Auto Decor. He was born April 24, 1927, in South Bend.

On Sept. 6, 1947, in Morris, Ind., he married Mary Mildred Weisenbach. She survives with two daughters, Linda Zoeller of Chicago and Brenda Carasella of Berwyn, Ill.; a son, Gregory of South Bend; four grandchildren; two sisters, Doris Kramer of Tavares, Fla., and Kathryn Harrison of South Bend; three brothers, Melvin of Leesburg, Fla., Robert and William J., both of South Bend; his parents, Absolum and Kathryn Harrison of South Bend.

Mr. Harrison was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Mishawaka, and American Legion.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in the church. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. today in Welsheimer Funeral Home North, 17033 Cleveland Road, South Bend. Memorial contributions may be mde to the Berrien County Cancer Service
