Jacquoline A. (Warner) Metz

December 2, 1927 ~ July 24, 2023 (age 95)

Jacquoline A. Metz, 95, of Carmel, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 24, 2023, surrounded by family.

She was born on December 2, 1927, in Harrisburg, PA to Helen Farnwalt. As a young girl, she moved to South Bend where she eventually started working at Western Union and met her husband, John. They married on July 9, 1949, and they were loving parents to three beautiful children. She worked for many years at Jefferson Medical Arts Pharmacy as a pharmacy tech.

Preceding Jackie in death are her mother; sister, Betty; daughter, Janet; and son, John.

Jackie is survived by her loving husband, daughter; Judy (Richard) Gilday, grandchildren Shaun (Ashley) Gilday, Meghan (Evan) Siegrist, and Caity Gilday, as well as four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Jackie enjoyed quality time with her devoted husband and family, playing card games, and reading and listening to music. She will be missed dearly. 

Services for Jackie will be held at 12pm on Thursday July 27, 2023, at the Palmer Funeral Homes-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan St. South Bend.  Friends may visit with the family from 11 am until the time of services.  Burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend.
