Martha Bell (Wiley) Knebel

SOUTH BEND — Martha B. Knebel, 80, passed away Sunday, Aug.26, in the Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, South Bend. She was born on May 23, 1927, in South Bend, the daughter of Charles and Opal Wiley.

On August 18, 1951, she married Delbert Knebel, who survives. Martha is also survived by her two sons, David (Mary) Knebel of Mishawaka and Randy Knebel of South Bend; her daughter, Linda Knebel of South Bend; and by two grandchildren, William Knebel of Bloomington, IN, and Katie Knebel of Ft.Wayne, IN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and by two sisters, Rose Lee Tindall and Betty Horvath.

In honoring Martha’s wishes, there will be no visitation or services. A private burial will take place. The Welsheimer Family Funeral Home assisted with arrangements
