Robert Charles De Bard

Robert Charles De Bard passed away on August 3, 2012 in Riverside California, although was a resident of Hemet for 30 years.

He was born on June 3, 1924 in South Bend, Indiana to William and Ethel De Bard.

Robert was a man of faith, a minister, a counselor, and a wonderful mentor to his family. He was always smiling, humorous, and comforting. He served in WWII as an Army Sergeant and attended William & Mary College. He enjoyed life and his hobbies of stained glass and music.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Elvira of 64 years, his daughter Sherry, his brother William, and his sister Sylvia.

He is survived by his daughter Terri Edmonds and her husband Mike, 3 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren.

He will be greatly missed. If Robert were here today he would say "this too shall pass".
