Thomas E. Kring

Thomas Edward Kring, 18. of 3518 S. St. Joseph St., died at 5:30 a.m. today in St. Joseph's Hospital after a three month illness. A graduate of Riley High School, he was a student at Valparaiso Technical Institute.

He was born Oct. 1. 1955, in South Bend. He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Claude A. Kring of South Bend; his paternal grandfather, Edward Kring of North Liberty; his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Sophie Granat of South Bend, and two brothers. Gerald Ellis of Fairbanks, Alaska, and Dennis of Dubuque, lowa.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the Guisinger Colonial Chapel. Services will be at 11 a.m, Monday in the funeral home, with Rev. James C Buckley, CSC, officiating.
