SOUTH BEND- Samuel Joel Hall, 60, passed away at 11:30 AM Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at Memorial Hospital, South Bend, IN following complications of Crohn's Disease. He was born on July 9, 1953 in South Bend, IN to Samuel Eugene and Marjorie (Gulatta) Hall and remained a lifelong resident. He was self-employed as a caregiver and for the last 20 years was the caregiver at home with his mom.

Sam was an avid reader. He is survived by his mother, Marjorie Hall of South Bend; four sisters, Denise (Richard) Rinehart of Granger, Sandy (Bruce) Smith and Cynthia D. Schrock both of South Bend and Suzanne (Mark) Bolenbaugh of Rochester Hills, MI; four brothers, Randall Hall, David Hall and Timothy Hall all of South Bend and Jonathan (Jennifer) Hall of Woodstock, GA; and several nieces and nephews

Private family memorial services will be held at a later date.
