Kenneth Howard Scott, 80, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 19, 2024 at Raclin House, Center for Hospice Care, Mishawaka, IN. Kenneth was born on March 24, 1944 in Toronto, Canada, to Harold and Hilda Scott, both of whom preceded him in death. In addition to his parents, Kenneth was also preceded in death by two brothers: Randall Malcolm Scott and Keith Scott (Kenneth's identical twin, who died at ten months old).
On March 14, 1964, Kenneth married the former Rebecca L. Lyvers.
Kenneth is survived by his wife, Rebecca L. Scott of Osceola, IN; sister, Maureen Scott of California; nephew, Mark (Gail) Lyvers of Mishawaka IN; nephew, Glenn (April) Lyvers of Johnstown, PA; nephew, Todd (Lara) Lyvers of Cape Coral, Florida; nephew, Gary Lyvers of South Bend, IN; niece, Gail Huffer of Plymouth, IN; niece, Stormy (Steve) Kasser of PineHurst, TX; nephew, Tommy (Kristy) Nimon of Houston, TX; nephew, Joey (Kandace) Nimon of Tomball, TX; niece, Linda Stickles of Houston, TX; brother-in-law, Mark (Marybeth) Lyvers of South Bend, IN.
Kenneth earned an associate degree. He was employed as an electrical contractor in the construction industry. He enjoyed skiing and kayaking in his younger years and spending time with his family. Kenneth enjoyed the company of his dog and cat. Kenneth loved to sing and share his life with loved ones. He had a great sense of humor, and he had a smile that made the world a little brighter. Ken loved nature and going for long drives with his wife.
In keeping with Kenneth’s wishes, no services will be held at this time. Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with his care.
