Jack Adams Hanna

Jack A. Hanna was born on April 9, 1935, in Niles, Michigan, and passed away on February 24, 2025, in Scottsdale, Arizona.
After graduating Riley High School, Jack served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Northampton (CLC-1). He later built a career as an engineer at Thompson Industry, where he applied his expertise and dedication. Jack made his home in Arizona, creating a life surrounded by family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Marcia Hanna. He is survived by his two children, Thomas Hanna of Chandler and Jacqueline Johnson of Cave Creek, Arizona, along with his son-in-law Robert Johnson. He also leaves behind three grandchildren—Ryan Johnson, Ashley Buerck, and Blake Hanna—as well as one great-grandchild, Calvin Buerck. Additionally, he is survived by his three sisters: Sharon Hanna, Ruth Sousley, and Pat Hanna of South Bend, Indiana.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 7th, 2025, at 10:00 am at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery 1562 E Baseline Road, Mesa, AZ 85304. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of the Valley, a cause that was helpful in dad's final days of life.
We find comfort in knowing that Dad's legacy lives on through the lessons he taught us, the love he shared, and the memories we will cherish forever. May he rest in peace.
