There has been no formal obituary that I know of but if you know of one, please let me know. I don't know when Mike and his brother, David Paul, changed their last name to Ladd but I think it was after 1961. Mike graduated with the Class of 1961. He married Linda Jean Miller from the Class of 1960 and they moved to Maine. For the 1970 reunion book, Linda wrote that Mike was a marketing communications consultant. We didn't hear from them again until Linda sent us a lengthy note that you can read in the Class of 1960, 2010, 50th Reunion Memory Book. In that communication she said that they lived in Chicago while Mike worked for Motorola. They moved to Maine in 1974. In 2007 Mike retired from Idexx Labs as a research engineer in the photonic lab.
