Willia Mae’s sister, Claudia, reports that Willia Mae now has two children, six grandchildren, and one great grandchild. Daughter Pamela is a teacher in Beloit, and son, Keith, works in a factory.
From the South Bend Tribune: Willia Mae “Leach” Burks-Busch, 58 of 1245 Harrison Avenue, Beloit, Wisconsin, died on Saturday, August 21, 1999, in Beloit Memorial Hospital. She was born on September 5, 1940, in Ruleville, Mississippi, the daughter of Willie and Beatrice (Townsend) Burks, who both preceded her in death. She married Jesse Delano Busch in South Bend, Indiana on November 21, 1964. He also preceded her in death in July 1979. She is survived by a daughter, Pamela S., Busch of Beloit; a son, Keith Allen Busch of Milton, Wisconsin; four grandchildren, Delano M. Croft of Beloit, Alexis Busch, Kordell Busch and Ondrea Busch, all of Milton; two sisters, Rosie Walker of Atlanta, Georgia, and Claudia B. Burks of South Bend; four brothers, Willie Burks, Jr., and Clarence Burks, both of South Bend, Harris Burks and George D. Burks, both of Atlanta; and by several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held at noon on Wednesday, August 25, in the Community Baptist Church, 1734 Center Street, South Beloit, Illinois with Rev. C. F. Hereford officiating. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will be at Eastlawn Cemetery, Beloit, Wisconsin. Memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia Foundation. Hansen Funeral Home, Beloit, is handling arrangements.
