Dolores "Dee" (Luzny) Hay
June 2, 1941 ~ February 18, 2025 83 Years Old
Born June 2, 1941 in South Bend, IN to Alex and Sabina (Gadacz) Luzny. Grandparents: Stella and Casimir Klaybor and her Uncle Benny Klaybor
Dee used to work at Disney World and Notre Dame in the gift shops
She worked at Albertsons in both Florida and in Idaho, and at a bank in South Bend.
Dee loved the lilacs and plumera flowers, Pillsbury Dough Boy, Hawaii, going to her eye doctor- Dr Karen Pugh, Sheltie pups, shopping at Martins and her Facebook connections
She belonged to Immanuel United Methodist Church & Our Lady of Hungary.
She loved her neighbors on Catalpa and Kemble street and loved being a part of the Rum Village community.

Sam (Abby), Ben (Sarah), Jake (Lisa), Emilie, Cameron (Caitlynn) & Clayton (Alexandra) and their children.

Family in heaven: Adopted sister Alanna M Chmiel and Richard Smith, adopted brother.
Thank you so much to Caring Junction (Risa, Jamaya, Cely, & Stephanie) for taking such loving care of her during Dee’s final days, the kind folks at Comfort 1 Hospice, and to Zahoran Funeral Home (Pat Nowak) for taking care of her and taking her down Catalpa Street one last time.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
