Trina Karen (Munson) Cripe
September 3, 1941 ~ December 8, 1998.
Trina K. Cripe, 57, residing on Ozone Blvd., South Bend, IN passed away at 4 a.m., on Tuesday, December 8, in her residence.
Mrs. Cripe was employed for six years with the South Bend Community School Corporation having worked at McKinley Elementary School in Special Education. She was also a professional photographer and served as a photography teacher at Battell Center in Mishawaka, IN.
She was born in Norfolk, VA, to the late Victor Frederick and Velma C. (Leach) Munson, and had lived in South Bend since 1957 coming from California. On June 16, 1961, in South Side Church of God, South Bend, as Trina Munson, she married Eugene R. Cripe, who survives. She is survived by three daughters, Kathleen of South Bend and Karen and Jennifer of FL, and a grandson.
Mrs. Cripe was a member of South Side Church of God, a board member of St. Joseph County Special Olympics and was an Aquatics Coach for the St. Joseph County Special Olympics. She received an Associate degree in photograph from Ivy Tech.
