Larry Galen Eggers

Larry G. Eggers, 80, of South Bend, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at his home on Thursday May 22, 2025.
Larry was born on September 5, 1944, in Benton Harbor, MI to the late Fred and Nellie Mae (Bradberry) Eggers.
After High School Larry began working for the United States Postal Service, first as a letter carrier and later in vehicle maintenance.
On June 27, 1964, he married Carol Jeffries, sharing the last 60years together.
Larry is survived by his wife, Carol Eggers, his sons; Craig (Tina) Eggers of South Bend, Dave (Erin) Eggers of Granger, and Michael (Brandi) Eggers of Indianapolis. Also surviving are his grandchildren; Trevor, Scott, Nathan, Kaelyn, Madilyn, and great grandchildren; Paislee and Wyatt. His brother, Jim (Norma) Eggers also survives along with his close friends; Melvin and Carole Gee, Lisa Gee, Beth and Gayton Marks and their children; Keathley, Lucas, Ann, and Lucy.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents and his infant daughter.
Visitation for Larry will be held from 10am until 12pm on Wednesday May 28, 2025, at the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, 3718 S. Michigan St. South Bend. The funeral service will begin at 12pm and burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery, South Bend.
