Katherine “Katie” (Pozsgai) Cooper

Katherine (Katie) Cooper, 50, of Hubbardston, died Sunday July 17, 1994, at the Ferguson Hospice Care Center in Grand Rapids. She was born May 9, 1944, in South Bend, Ind., the daughter of Steve and Theresa Pozsgai.

She worked at Ore-Ida in Greenville for more than 10 years.

On Jan. 22, 1966, she married Gaylerd P. Cooper in South Bend Ind. She is survived by her husband, Gaylerd; one daughter and son-in-law, Wendy Sue and Verlin Jones, Hubbardston; one granddaughter, Jordynn May jones; six sisters, Delores Stankiewicz, Mary Ann Hansen, Erma Salay, Helen Pozsgai, Barbara Nollis and Elizabeth Delchambre; and three brothers, Paul, John and Steve Pozsgai Jr., all of South Bend, Ind.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 20, at the Schnepp Funeral Home, Crystal, with the Rev. Robert Braman officiating.
