Grace (Searfoss) Sharp

Grace Sharp, 53, of 3927 Montgolfier, died unexpectedly at 7:45 p.m. Sunday, Jul 18, 1982, in St. Joseph's Medical Center. She was a former employee of the Studebaker Corp. She was born on Oct. 13, 1928, in South Bend and was a lifetime area resident.

On Feb. 3, 1951, in South Bend, she married David Sharp, who survives. Other survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Gregory (Dottie) Brock of Union, Mich., Mrs. Dale (Melinda) Sharp and Mrs. Bob (Jennifer) Owens, both of South Bend; a son, David N. Sharp, at home; six grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Herbert (Marge) Streich and Mrs. Paul (Doris) Goon, both of South Bend, and Mrs. Roy (Alice) Burlington of Mount Pleasant, Mich.; and two brothers, Robert Searfoss of Niles and Clifford Searfoss of South Bend.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Chippewa Heights Weselyan Church, with Rev. Leonard Strait, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the Fair Cemetery, Lakeville. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today in the Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, 1201 S. Michigan. Memorial contributions may be made to the church, of which she was a member.
