William A. Wolf Sr.

July 20, 1928 – April 7, 2006

William A. Wolf Sr., 77, of South Bend, passed away at 12:25 a.m. on Friday, April 7, 2006, in his residence. He was born on July 20, 1928, in South Bend, to John and Cecelia (Degavich) Wolf. His parents and brother, John, have preceded him in death.

Bill is survived by his wife, Christia of South Bend; sons, Stephen of Goshen and William “Artie”Jr.(Renie) of Niles; and four grandchildren, Brittany, Tyler, Shelby and Jacob.

He worked at Berreth Oil Company for 20 years before retiring. He was in the 101st Airborne Division of the Army, serving in Korea, and was a graduate of Riley High School, Class of 1946.

A memorial service will be at 4 p.m.Tuesday, April 11, 2006, in ST.JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S.MAYFLOWER ROAD, SOUTH BEND, followed by calling hours from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Burial will be at St.Joseph Cemetery, South Bend.
