Judine Ann Hubbs

Judine Ann Fultz, resident of Sunnyvale, 73, formerly of Canton, IL passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at 1:30 AM at her residence.

She was born June 2, 1938, in Kansas City, MO, the daughter of Frederick and Margerite P. (Miller) Fultz. Judine married Robert R. Hubbs August 9, 1958 at the First Christian Church Chapel in Canton. He survives. Also surviving are one daughter, Elizabeth; one son, Michael; and one grandson, Zak, all of California; a sister in law, Adrianne Cowan of Macomb; and two of several cousins, Jeri Mack and Sally Meyer.

Preceding her in death were her parents and her grandparents, Vernon & Minnie Miller, which were lifelong residents of Canton.

Judine was a true sports fan and a season ticket holder for the San Francisco Giants for many years.

Judine was diagnosed less than a year ago with malignant brain cancer. She fought the disease valiantly and maintained her insightful wisdom and irreverent sense of humor until the very end.

A visitation will be Thursday, April 19th from 5 to 7 pm at Murphy-Sedgwick Memorial Home, Canton. A Family Graveside Service will be Friday, April 20th at 10:00 am at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Canton.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, Pathways, Junior Giants (a group supported by the San Francisco Giants for the benefit of youth), or Friends of Civil War Preservation.
