Carolyn Ruth Tesmer

SOUTH BEND - Carolyn R. Tesmer, 72, of South Bend, passed away unexpectedly in her residence on April 29th. Carolyn was born in South Bend, IN, on August 12, 1938, to the late John and Ruth (Self) Koski.

On November 21, 1981, she married Edwin "Bud" Albert Tesmer, who preceded her in death on October 27, 1999.

She retired from Associates where she had worked as a secretary. Carolyn is survived by her sister, Connie (Norm) Baloun of South Bend; and her very special niece, Cari Baloun of Las Vegas, NV. She also leaves behind her dog, Sissy, whom she treated like her child.

Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, May 3rd, from 3 to 6 p.m. in the Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka, and one hour prior to the service Wednesday morning. A service celebrating Carolyn's life will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 4th, in the funeral chapel, with Rev. Ervin Mize officiating. Burial is to follow at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park in Granger.

Memorial contributions may be made in Carolyn's name to either Hospice of South Bend or to the Humane Society of St. Joseph County.
