Nadine Lois (Richardson) Lister

Feb. 22, 1929 - June 26, 2001

SOUTH BEND - Nadine L. Lister, 72, of Jewell Avenue, South Bend, Ind., passed away at 7:50 p.m. Tuesday, June 26, in the Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, South Bend. Mrs. Lister was born on Feb. 22, 1929, in South Bend, and was a lifetime resident of the Michiana area.

On Sept. 12, 1948, in South Bend, as Nadine L. Richardson, she married Robert E. Lister, who survives. She is also survived by a daughter; Sharon J. (Stephen) Gilbert of South Bend; and two sons, Larry R. (Becky) Lister of South Bend and Randy E. (Leslie) Lister of Tyner, Ind. Mrs. Lister will be sadly missed by her eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, whom she loved and cherished every day of her life. She will not only be missed by her loving family but by many friends.

Nadine worked as a waitress for many years and worked at the former Toasty Restaurant. Mrs. Lister was a member of the Pine Creek Church of the Brethren in North Liberty, Ind.

Friends may visit with the family between 10 and 11 a.m. Friday, June 29, in the Hanley & Sons "Southwest Chapel" Funeral Home, located at West Ireland Road/Indiana 23, South Bend. Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. Friday, June 29, in the funeral home, with Pastor Norman Replogle of the Pine Creek Church of the Brethren officiating. Burial will follow at Southlawn Cemetery. The family request, in lieu of flowers, that all memorial contributions be made to the Pine Creek Church of the Brethren or to Hospice of St. Joseph County. The HANLEY & Sons "Southwest Chapel" Funeral Home handled arrangements and services and extend deepest sympathy and prayers to the Lister family
