Nadine L. (Harper) Faulkner
March 17, 1923 - July 26, 1997
Nadine L. (Harper) Faulkner, 74, and a South Bend, Ind., native, died at her r home in Everson, Wash., on Saturday, July 26. The daughter of Wilbur and Grace (Baum) Harper, Nadine was born in South Bend on March 17, 1923. She was raised in South Bend and was married there to James Faulkner in November of 1942.
For 10 years she was employed at Studebaker in South Bend and then moved to California in 1951. She was employed as a secretary for the Santa Clara Unified School District for many years, and was active in the Los Gatos Presbyterian Church. She also enjoyed square and line dancing. She moved to Everson, Wash., in 1990 due to failing health and to be near her daughter.
She is survived by her husband James of Los Gatos, Calif.: daughter, Linda Lovison of Everson; two sons, John Faulkner of Dana Point, Calif., and David Faulkner of Pacifica, Calif.; six grandchildren; and by a brother, Wilbur Harper of Las Vegas, Nev.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jessica Silver in 1988.
No services will be held. Her ashes will be interred in Los Gatos, Calif. Memorials may be made to your favorite charity. Arrangements were under the care of Gillies Funeral Home, Lynden, Wash.
